Different organizations may use different names for the same thing. Force4Good covers spirit nights, dine-to-donate events, in-store and online fundraisers, and dine-out nights. Donations and sponsorships are also available.
It’s up to you! We provide the platform and the marketing tools, you bring your community. The average fundraiser event brings home a $150 donation, plus everyone has fun, and it’s easy to schedule again! After all, everyone eats, so why not share a meal for a good cause? With Force4Good, you’re not stressing about the details and logistics so YOU can relax and enjoy, too.
It depends on the host location. Each partner sets its own requirements, and you’ll see them when you apply.
Let’s say you set up your account and apply for a fundraiser today. Depending on the business hosting your fundraiser, you can schedule a fundraiser as soon as 14-28 days out, then plan on 2-6 weeks for your donation check to arrive in the mail (faster if you choose the direct deposit option). So all-in-all, we’d recommend planning on 6-8 weeks before you can put those funds to work.
As part of the application process you will be able to select your school, provide your tax ID or complete a W-9 form. After the fundraiser you will be emailed a link to digitally sign a donor acknowledgement letter. These documents are required by the IRS for your fundraiser host to tax-deduct their donation.
We’ve got you. As you set up your fundraiser, you’ll be prompted to enter your organization’s name, which will automatically populate flyers, emails, and a pre-built webpage for every fundraiser. Plus, you’ll get a fundraiser web page just for your event. We’ll send you tips and tricks for making your event even more successful as the fundraiser approaches!
If you fundraise for multiple organizations, set up one shared account for each organization. If you fundraise for one organization, your whole team can work out of a single shared account.
Yes! Many of our participating restaurant and retail partners support local nonprofits through donations, sponsorships, fundraising nights, gift cards, and other ways of giving back. Find a local Force4Good partner to apply for donations and sponsorships!
