AEO for Restaurants

When AI Becomes the Front Door

Consumers are starting to get recommendations and make decisions from AI tools (like ChatGPT, Google’s AI search summaries, Gemini) instead of just scrolling through search results on Google. If AI doesn’t mention your restaurant, customers may never discover you—no matter how good your website or SEO is! Because of that, brands—especially restaurants—need to think differently about how they show up and build trust. For the first roundtable of 2026 will be joined by Megan Shroy and Jennifer Dingman with Approach Marketing, to explore what Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) means for restaurants, how it connects to PR and earned media, and what “share of answer” looks like in practice.
