12 Days of Giving: Celebrating Community, Compassion, and Collective Impact

12 Days of Giving

As we reflect on a year filled with community-driven impact, we’re proud to share the stories behind our 12 Days of Giving, a celebration of nonprofits that transformed simple meals, gatherings, and partnerships into meaningful support for people and communities nationwide.

Throughout this season, we honored 12 remarkable organizations and the restaurant partners who stood beside them. Together, they reminded us that when communities rally around a cause, generosity becomes action and impact multiplies.

Day 1: Global Medical Brigades UNCC

We kicked off our 12 Days of Giving by spotlighting Global Medical Brigades UNCC, an organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities with sustainable health and medical care worldwide. With support from Dave’s Hot Chicken, their fundraising efforts help equip volunteers with the supplies, expertise, and resources needed to reach communities lacking basic healthcare services.

As Mackenzie from Global Medical Brigades shared, fundraising enables meaningful, lasting impact—alleviating suffering, strengthening local health systems, and creating healthier futures for communities across the globe.

Day 2: San Carlos United Soccer Club

On Day 2, we celebrated San Carlos United Soccer Club, a California-based organization committed to helping competitive youth soccer players grow both on and off the field. With help from Nick the Greek, their fundraising supports scholarships for families in need, the purchase of equipment, and stronger community engagement.

Their story is a powerful reminder that youth sports can shape confidence, character, and connection when communities come together.

Day 3: Special Olympics Idaho

Day 3 honored Special Olympics Idaho, whose year-round sports training and Olympic-style competitions create opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to build fitness, courage, joy, and lasting friendships. Thanks to Red Robin, their most successful fundraiser of the year brought the community together in full force.

The result? Greater awareness, stronger support, and life-changing opportunities for athletes and families across Idaho.

Day 4: The Rescue House

On Day 4, we spotlighted The Rescue House, a volunteer-run cat rescue in San Diego dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need. With no facility costs, every dollar raised through the fundraiser with Soapy Joe’s Car Wash goes directly to veterinary care, food, and supplies.

Because of passionate volunteers, generous donors, and community partners, countless cats and kittens are finding safety—and their forever homes.

Day 5: TWO4VETS

Day 5 focused on TWO4VETS, an Arizona nonprofit providing emergency funds to families of fallen veterans so their loved ones can receive proper support. Created in memory of U.S. Army veteran Jalen Mastrianna, TWO4VETS exists because a community chose compassion in a moment of loss.

With support from eegee’s, their fundraisers help honor heroes and care for the families they leave behind—one meaningful conversation and one event at a time.

Day 6: WLEEA

On Day 6, we celebrated WLEEA – Washington Law Enforcement Exploring Advisors, a statewide volunteer program serving young adults ages 14–21 who are interested in careers in law enforcement. Thanks to MOD Pizza, our fundraising efforts will help keep training costs accessible for families while providing guidance, confidence, and real-world experience for future leaders.

Day 7: The Center for Violence-Free Relationships

Day 7 highlighted The Center for Violence-Free Relationships in Placerville, California, an organization providing advocacy, counseling, education, and housing support for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Their fundraiser with Pizza Factory brought new supporters into the fold and created space for open, meaningful conversations about safety and healing.

The result was an event that exceeded expectations—and made a tangible difference for survivors in the region.

Day 8: Backpacks 4 Kids AZ

On Day 8, we celebrated Backpacks 4 Kids AZ, an organization born from an 11-year-old’s simple act of kindness. Today, they provide 3,500 backpacks filled with school supplies each year while also supporting families through food pantries, snack bags, and hygiene kits.

With help from Habit Burger & Grill, their fundraiser blended community, celebration, and generosity—empowering children and supporting families in lasting ways.

Day 9: Worthington Estates Elementary School PTA

Day 9 recognized the everyday heroes of school communities: PTA members. We highlighted Worthington Estates Elementary School PTA in Ohio, whose partnership with Donatos made fundraising easy, accessible, and incredibly successful.

From quick setup to simple online ordering, this event proved that when schools and local businesses work together, students and families reap the rewards.

Day 10: Angel Eyes

On Day 10, we honored Angel Eyes, a Colorado nonprofit providing compassionate support to families navigating the loss of a pregnancy, infant, or young child. Through free counseling, group support, and a gentle, judgment-free approach, Angel Eyes walks alongside families during their darkest moments.

Their fundraiser with QDOBA was an overwhelming success—demonstrating the power of community to bring light, comfort, and hope where it’s needed most.

Day 11: Shepherd’s House

Day 11 spotlighted Shepherd’s House, an organization helping women and children experiencing homelessness transition into stable housing, employment, and independence. Operating entirely through donations, Shepherd’s House provides housing, food, utilities, clothing, and life-skills classes with dignity and compassion.

Their fundraiser with Applebee’s created a memorable community event where support, smiles, and generosity filled the room.

Day 12: Feeding America

We closed our 12 Days of Giving by looking at impact on a national scale with Feeding America, a nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger across the country. In recognition of the growing need for food support, Force4Good contributed to Feeding America—helping provide 180,000 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity nationwide.

It was a powerful reminder that even small acts of generosity can create an extraordinary ripple effect.

Looking Ahead with Gratitude

From global healthcare to youth sports, animal rescue to hunger relief, domestic violence support to veteran services—this year’s 12 Days of Giving showcased what’s possible when nonprofits, local businesses, and communities come together with a shared purpose.

To every organization, partner, volunteer, and supporter who made these moments possible: thank you. Your compassion, commitment, and belief in community are what turn generosity into lasting change.

Here’s to a new year filled with kindness, connection, and continued impact!
