When a donation request comes in, Force4Good makes it easy to review, respond, and keep everything documented in one place.
STEP 1 – Open the request
Navigate to your Requests dashboard and select the request you want to review.
You’ll see key details like:
- Organization name
- Event or fundraiser details
- Requested support type (gift card, percentage night, sponsorship, etc.)
- Date and timeline
Take a moment to review the information so you can make an informed decision.
STEP 2 – Review your history (optional, but smart)
Before responding, check your past interactions with this organization:
- Have you supported them before?
- How recently?
- What kind of impact did it generate?
This helps you stay consistent and intentional with your giving—not just reactive.
STEP 3 – Choose your response
Click Respond and select one of the following:
- Approve – You’re moving forward with the request
- Decline – You’re unable to support this time
- Request more info – You need clarification before deciding
Each option keeps your communication clear and documented.
STEP 4 – Add a message
Include a short message to the requester. This is your chance to:
- Confirm details (dates, logistics, expectations)
- Set boundaries (limits, availability, next steps)
- Keep the tone warm and professional
Templates may be available to speed this up.
STEP 5 – Attach details (if needed)
If you’re approving the request, you can:
- Upload files (flyers, logos, instructions)
- Add internal notes for your team
- Assign the request to a team member
Everything stays tied to the request so nothing gets lost.
STEP 6 – Track it moving forward
Once you’ve responded, the request is logged in your system. You can:
- Revisit it anytime
- Track outcomes and impressions
- Reference it for future decisions
A quick note on consistency
It’s easy to treat donation requests as one-off decisions—but over time, that creates noise and inconsistency.
Using Force4Good as your single system helps you:
- Stay aligned with your giving priorities
- Build stronger community relationships
- Understand the real impact of your support
