KFC Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 26, 2024

KFC maintains the right to use the information provided in this application to verify your organization’s tax exemption status. Not all fundraiser applications are approved. KFC may reject a fundraiser application and/or cancel an accepted fundraiser application at any time without reason.

In order to host a fundraiser, applying organizations must meet KFC’s eligibility criteria. KFC currently partners with schools. You will receive a Commercial Co-Venture agreement from KFC that you will be required to sign before the fundraiser is held.

Organizations and causes KFC is not able to support include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizations that are not eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions
  • Organizations that do not have a United States federal tax ID number (other than United States public schools and districts)
  • Organizations that discriminate against a person or a group on the basis of age, race, religion (creed), ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or political affiliation

Organizations that do not fit the eligibility criteria may be rejected or have their fundraiser canceled at any point in the process.

Applications are approved by email. You will not be approved if emails to your email address are returned as undeliverable. You will also be required to execute a donation agreement with KFC. You may not be approved if your donation agreement is not executed. If approved, KFC will provide you with a website where your organization can promote sales during the duration of the fundraiser. You are free to share this website with your organization, family, and friends through email, social media, and other digital sharing methods. Customers cannot setup stands, tables, or hand out flyers in or directly outside of the store.

KFC commits to donating 15% of product sales (gift card purchases and delivery sales) made lawfully and in accordance with this agreement to your organization. Fundraisers are a joint effort between your organization and KFC. You agree to use the KFC brand name respectfully and professionally throughout the fundraiser process.

Your donation will be written as a check made payable to your organization and will be mailed by USPS. KFC is not responsible for checks that are not delivered due to the incorrect address being provided, nor is KFC responsible for lost checks.

KFC reserves the right to withhold donations if your fundraiser website is abused and/or used in a manner not in accordance with this agreement. KFC reserves the right to reject applications for any reason in its sole and absolute discretion.

By submitting your information through this online form you consent to receiving communications from KFC and/or Force4Good. You hereby agree that the data you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the authority to submit your application on behalf of your organization.
